igoogle

I'm sorry but this is one of the stupidest names. What a disappointment! It's one of the least creative things I have seen Google do. do we have to have ieverything? Maybe I should just change my name to iDavid. Maybe we should start calling our cars iDrive. "gonna go get in my iDrive and head to the iMarket for iFood" Now every time I use my customized page to check something it makes me cringe and squinch my face in a sign of annoyance that they couldn't just leave well enough alone.

What's the address? www.iGoogle.com? Is it any different than Google?

No, it's basically what they used to call "Personalized homepage". A link next to "classic home" at the top-right of their site. The customized homepages ( http://www.google.com/ig?hl=en ) have been around for years but in a furor, Google released some sort of update to the public, renaming it iGoogle and simultaneously LOSING the customized page settings (including feed data, themes, etc.) for millions of people. A rare but bad screw up on their part.

For more info, here's one reference on it:
